What I DID 

  • I designed and created this Number Bonds Board Game that focuses on the number 15

  • Drew and crafted out all the components of this board game which has: The board game, 100 laminated star, 4 coloured star character, 16 Action cards, answer booklet, mini whiteboard and a list of number bonds for 15

What I learned  

  • Ways of presenting a very 'dry' topic in a fun and exciting game for children to play and learn at the same time 

  • Importance of child safety, making sure that the materials are not harmful to the children 

  • Importance of size for children, to have something big and colourful that will attract their attention to the activity 

Challenges

  • Making all the components one by one in time for the activity implementation

  • Thinking of ways to challenge children of a higher ability while ensuring that other children are able to participate too 

  • Creating a nice design to attract children
