what i did

I assisted the host teacher by helping out with lessons and daily routines throughout the day (transitions, morning walk, movement lesson, story time etc.)

I assisted the Chinese and English teachers in organising and preparing the different materials for the Nursery 1 and playgroup lessons
-
I was tasked to observe one of the children in my allocated class and prepare a detailed report on the child's development and strategies to help support the child's growth

I engaged with the children during free play or movement lessons, ensuring that they are always safe
What i learned

Strategies to get the children's attention during lessons

Different ways to conduct a topic (providing concrete materials, role playing etc.)

Proper way and timings of conducting temperature check for the children

Proper way of administrating medicine the child is supposed to take (checking dosage and signing of papers)

Proper ways of handling food during lunch time and snack time (clean utensils, gloves)

The developmental milestones for the different domains of children from 18 months to 27 months
